Short answer: It means you’re getting the whole plant, not just isolated CBD: and that makes a huge difference. Why? Read on. 

Full spectrum means our hemp extract contains the complete range of naturally occurring cannabinoids, not just CBD. That includes small amounts of THC, as well as CBG, CBN, CBC, and the plant’s natural terpenes and flavonoids.

Most topical products on the market use CBD isolate—a single, stripped-down compound that lacks the supporting cannabinoids. While isolate can be effective, it often misses out on the synergy that happens when all the plant’s components work together. This is called the entourage effect, and it’s why full-spectrum products tend to offer broader, deeper relief for things like soreness, tension, and skin irritation.

Bottom line? We don’t cut corners with isolates or synthetic cannabinoids. Just whole-plant power, the way nature made it.

Health Canada strictly forbids making ANY health claims about pain or inflammation, or sharing anything that could be construed as a testimonial about the efficacy of our product. But here’s what we can share:

Our HempStick combines full-spectrum hemp extract with essential oils like wintergreen, ginger, clove, and black pepper—each rich in terpenes such as β‑caryophyllene, α‑humulene, and eugenol. These compounds are being actively studied for how they interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system, particularly the CB₂ receptor, which is associated with immune modulation and localized relief.

The beeswax and hemp lipids in our formula support skin hydration and absorption without synthetic emulsifiers, offering a clean-label alternative for those seeking something natural, simple, and thoughtfully designed.

We not allowed to promise outcomes—but we’ve put YEARS of work into this product; we’re proud of how our formulation feels, smells, and supports daily comfort for a growing community of customers who keep coming back (and telling their friends).

Legally, we have to state that no official expiry date has been determined for this product. That said, we’ve found the HempStick stays fresh for at least 12 months, and we recommend using it within two years. The organic essential oils in our formula act as natural preservatives—and in many cases, sticks stored in cool, dry places have remained in great shape even after several years. If you aren’t planning on using your HempStick for an extended period of time, storing it in the fridge, or even freezer, will prolong shelf life extensively.

Because our HempStick is completely natural—with no synthetic stabilizers—it’s sensitive to heat. We recommend storing it at or below room temperature (22°C or below) for best results. The stick will begin to soften around 27°C, and can melt fully at temperatures above 55°C (like in a hot car or direct sun). Keeping it cool not only preserves its texture, but also extends its shelf life.this is a totally natural product; if you leave it in your car on a hot summer’s day, it WILL start to melt. Typically our HempStick will get quite rather soft around 27 degrees celsius, and it will start completely melting at 55 degrees celsius.

That depends. Travel within Canada is perfectly legal, but crossing international borders—especially into the United States—is not allowed.

Even though our HempStick is non-psychoactive, and legal in many U.S. states, it is still classified as a cannabis product under Canadian law. Bringing ANY cannabis product across the border into the United States is prohibited, regardless of local laws at your destination.

Before traveling internationally, you must check the laws of the country you’re visiting. It’s your responsibility to ensure compliance with local regulations.

While we can’t make scientific claims, informal feedback suggests that most users report a positive and supportive experience within the first hour of application. These are anecdotal reports and should not be interpreted as guaranteed outcomes.

Believe it or not, we’re not allowed to sell it to you directly—because Health Canada says so.

Even though our HempStick is non-psychoactive and used externally, it’s still classified as a cannabis product under federal law. Why? Because it contains full-spectrum hemp extract, which includes naturally occurring cannabinoids—including trace amounts of THC.

That means it’s regulated exactly like dried flower, vapes, or edibles, despite the fact that it’s a topical product meant to be applied to your skin—not inhaled, ingested, or capable of producing a high.

So for now, we’re required to distribute through licensed cannabis retailers. Our products are currently available here on Mendo, here on the OCS (to Ontario residents), and all across stores in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

💡 The good news? Health Canada is currently exploring a path to move CBD and non-intoxicating hemp products into the Natural Health Product (NHP) framework—where they arguably belong. We support that shift, and we’re hopeful the rules will evolve to reflect common sense.
