Our Story
In the quiet summer of 2020, as the world seemed to pause and retreat, four visionary and hardworking families in Lakeside, Ontario, embarked on a journey that was anything but ordinary. With a spirit of resilience and foresight, they planted 60 acres of hemp, believing in the potential of what would be. This bold step was taken not in the pursuit of recreational or medical escapism, but rather for healing and well-being, following their strong faith-based principles and a commitment to clear-headed, wholesome living.
By fall, their fields were rich with a bountiful harvest, sparking the next phase of their vision. They developed a unique, proprietary pelletization process that perfectly dried the biomass without compromising the integrity or the beneficial properties of the hemp. This innovative method ensured that the essence of the plant was preserved, marking the birth of Wildwood Extraction Labs.
Over the past three years, Wildwood has grown into a tight-knit, family-first company. Our regular planning and dreaming sessions have solidified our bond and honed our mission to produce the world’s purest and most effective hemp topicals. We specialize in small-batch, full-spectrum products that promise wellness without the high—living up to our motto: "We want to get you healthy, not high."Our commitment extends beyond our products. Eric Puff
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS AND OWNER
Yes, that’s his real last name. With an extensive background in manufacturing, extraction, brewing and winemaking, this new venture was the ultimate fit for Eric. He resides in Lakeside, Ontario with his wife and two children.
Shane Wiebe
MANAGING DIRECTOR AND OWNER
Shane, with a background in nutraceuticals, oversees the team and focuses much of his time on relationships and sales. Hailing from Stratford, Ontaro, Shane and his family are passionate about faith, music, and getting Canadians healthy through good gut health, robust immune systems, and pain-free movement!
David Grieve
FIELD & SECURITY DIRECTOR AND OWNER
Dave brings farming expertise to the table. He leads the growing team and ensures only the best of the crop is released for extraction. Dave also lives in Lakeside, Ontario, where he and his family work together to keep their busy dairy farm running smoothly.
